Equitable Insurance Plans 

Although Equitable is one of my prime whole life insurance carriers, they also carry several other products that are health related.

For those that can't afford comprehensive health insurance, have high deductibles, or are simply wanting supplemental coverage, Equitable has several plans to offer. 

Critical Illness insurance for things like heart attacks, cancer, and strokes allows the insured to receive a lump sum check to pay for out of pocket expenses from anywhere from $5000 to $100,000.

Their Cancer policies are designed to help out with the out of pocket expenses associated with this expensive disease.  1 out of 3 people, and 2 out of 3 families are touched by cancer, and at the low cost, it doesn't make sense for someone not to have this valuable protection in their portfolio.  I even personally carry 2 policies from 2 different companies because it can touch anyone, anywhere, and at anytime.

For those looking for broader types of coverage, they also carry the Equicash product, which is supplemental coverage designed to cover out of pocket expense associated with hospital stays due to accidents or sicknesses.  This coverage is great for helping out with deductibles and copayments, and many people carry this coverage that can't afford traditional comprehensive major medical coverage.
